Yue Lao, the god in charge of marriage between men and women in Chinese folklore, also known as the old man under the moon, its image is often shaped as holding red silk in one hand, hanging the marriage book with a staff in the other, and the childlike face and crane hair. He used the mysterious "marriage book" to tie the feet of the man and woman destined for marriage with red silk threads, and from then on they would become husband and wife no matter what.
